Dear family & friends,
Guess I'll just continue to write in English so everyone can understand :) By the way, that fish & chips sounds very good, I'm jealous! How are you all doing?
I got three days off from school, because of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Tonight is the night where the moon is supposed to be the roundest, so Chinese families get together, eat moon-cakes (they're round & very jummy:) ) and stare at the moon. The Chinese government has a strange way of giving their peoploe a holiday though. You have to catch up on the days you have a holiday, so right now I have Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off, but I'm supposed to go to school on Saturday and Sunday!
My latest adventure was a trip to the local hospital to get my Hep-B shot for Brazil. I'd been told that it was a good hospital for Chinese standards, but I've never seen such chaos and so many bad smelling people in a place with a medical purpose. Ah well, I guess it's just one of those things you need to experience, next time it won't be so bad. But the worst part was, they wanted me to do a blood-test before I was allowed to get the vaccination-shot. More needles!! :(
My tutor will arrive in a few minutes now, so this is it for now, next time I'll tell you more about the food, my newly aquired shopping/bargaining skills and the nightlife of Shanghai....

China is een paradijs voor ondernemers als vrije dagen ingehaald worden.
Voor studenten maakt het toch niet veel uit. Ik herinner me dat we alleen naar college gingen als dat uitkwam in de planning.

Via je moeder kreeg ik de link om je te volgen. Erg leuk!! Nog gefeliciteerd met je diploma. Toen ik je voor het laatst zag was je nog volop het studeren voor je examen. Ik heb begrepen dat je een leuke vakantie op Kreta hebt gehad. Nu weer China en straks Brazilië, wat een leven!! Hopelijk kan je volop genieten van het land, de mensen en de cultuur en hoef je niet te veel te studeren!

het klinkt alsof je het super naar je zin hebt daar! en dat is goed :)
leuk dat je zoveel dingen daar ook bezoekt van dingen die je als normale toerist niet zo snel ziet!
